Pershing Square's Bill Ackman made a splash when he made a $25 million donation to the non-profit Signature Theater. It's located on 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues.
Signature Artistic Director James Houghton told Bloomberg that Ackman's donation would make it possible for the theater to sell low priced tickets for over a decade. That's huge for a venue that supports cutting edge creative ventures from award winning modern American play writes.
